Hello from the other side,
It is hard to believe that it is November already and it is only 7 weeks until Christmas, I don’t know how I feel about it being so close to Christmas!? I am the unorganised last-minute Christmas shopper who you see flapping when there is only 1 week to go, and I always say I will be more organised and ready next year and it never happens.
Here are a few of my beauty, fashion and lifestyle favourites which I have been enjoying during October.
I received this as a free gift for buying any two no7 makeup items I split my transaction into two, and I got two! I love the warm autumnal colours this is my daily go to make up palette it has everything I need.
This particular fragrance has a very unusual scent, the kind of scent that you will either love or hate. I love the warm and sweet scent of vanilla and amber, it is very autumnal and I find that it does last all day.
I found myself spending a small fortune on shower gel from The Body Shop and Soap and Glory from Boots. I managed to pick these up with my weekly online grocery shopping for 90 pence a bottle, I couldn’t help myself and I had to buy a few of the different scents, and they do smell amazing!
I love the fact that my skin is so soft, which is unusual for me at this time of the year.
Moroccan Spa – Orange Blossom and Argon Oil
Lets Flamingle – Pink Lychee & Raspberry
Mermazing – Fijian Water & Lotus Flower
One of the reasons I love Autumn is all of my beloved cosy cardigans can come out of the back of my wardrobe. Happy days!
Now let’s talk about winter boots. I have had two pairs of Clark’s Chelsea boots for many years, and I decided it was time to treat myself to some shiny new boots.
After scouring the high street and online for a few weeks, I finally found the perfect pair of Chelsea boots the DrMartens Flora boots.
They did take longer to break in than any other boots I have had before, I did find them quite stiff to begin with, but now they’re the comfiest boots I have ever owned.
When I am not at work, my go-to is a hoodie jumper with jeans or mostly my PJ bottoms!
Let us talk about food. For me, autumn is all about the slow cooker and cooking up tasty casseroles and soups. I love the fact I can chuck it all in on the morning, and it is ready to dish up when I get home from work.
The best thing is there is no fussing about trying to decide what to cook when you get back after a long day.
I am enjoying spending my evenings cosying up on the sofa with a soft blanket and lighting all my candles and settling down to watch TV I am currently watching Homeland on Netflix I can’t get enough of it!
I would love to hear what your go-to favourite items are and what you recommend I watch next.
