Lately, we have got bored of our evening meals; we tend to eat the same things all the time. So we thought we would give Hello Fresh a whirl, It is so easy to set up your subscription, and you get 50% off your first box! There are different boxes to choose from, Family Box, Classic Box, Veggie Box. We decided on the Classic Box subscription, choosing five days worth of meals; you can select your delivery date. This is great when you are working full-time! We agreed for ours to be delivered on a Saturday. There is no contract flexible, so If you need to have a break, you can pause your subscription and start it again when you are ready. My favourite thing about Hello Fresh is all your meals come pre-portioned. For us, that means no more food wastage.
I was surprised how well it was all packaged inside the box; I love how each meal was individually portioned and has colour-coded labels on each of the brown bags matching up to the recipe cards. All the meat, fish and dairy produce are in a wool-lined bag; this has ice packs inside, keeping everything nice and fresh. The recipe cards are fantastic; anyone can cook no matter what level of cooking skills you have. Step by step instructions, all the nutritional information, and how long each meal takes! It couldn't be any easier to make a tasty and nutritious meal.
The quality of all the produce is all farm shop quality, lean meat, fresh fish, and beautifully fresh vegetable. For me, the best meal I have had this week was Baked Margherita Rissotto - Delicious!
